In 2004, the University of Idaho selected 150 clones. Of these, 15 were selected. Northwest Norkotah selected 5, and after many years of trial and testing, narrowed it down to three varieties: NW 90, NW 111, and NW 218.
Today, these three varieties are grown commercially by our certified Northwest Norkotah seed growers.

Royalty
$0.25 /per cwt royalty charge. This fee goes towards getting good clean seed and allowing us to keep the cultures through the University of Idaho and helping to create longevity in the program.
